/ 1½ cups spelt flour (, spooned into the cup then gently levelled with a knife. See notes for substitutions)

ground cinnamon

ground ginger

coconut sugar (, you may sub this for any other brown sugar)

mls / 1 ¼ cup plant-based milk

1 tbsp

apple cider vinegar

2 1/2 tbsp

black strap molasses

1 1/2 tbsp

liquid oil (I used a light olive oil but coconut oil would also be good as would any other liquid cooking oil)
