PREPARATION

. Boil the linguine in salted water until cooked, then drain and set aside. (Save a cup of the pasta cooking water in case you need it for the sauce later.)

. In the same pot, melt the butter and garlic over medium heat, stirring to ensure that the garlic doesn't burn.

. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 minutes, stirring.

. Add the lemon juice, salt, pepper, parsley, and red chili flakes, stirring to coat.

. Remove from heat and add the linguini, toss to coat. (This is when you can add the reserved pasta water 1/2 cup at a time, until desired consistency.)

. Top with parsley and enjoy!
