large egg

large egg yolks

semisweet chocolate, melted and still warm

2 tbsp

unsalted butter, cut into 4 pieces, at room temperature

1 tsp

vanilla bean paste (or extract)

For the ice cream:

1 1/2 cups

heavy whipping cream
