Baked Potato Soup {On the Stove or In the Crock-Pot}

potatoes (I use red, Yukon, or Russet potatoes)

3/4 cup

all-purpose flour or brown rice flour

10 cups

milk (plus more as needed)

2 tsp

kosher salt (plus more to taste)

1 tsp

freshly cracked black pepper (plus more to taste)

1 1/2 cups

sour cream

Toppings:

1/2 lb

or 8 slices bacon (cooked and chopped)

1/2 cup

thinly sliced chives or green onions (I like to use both)

1 1/2 cups

cheddar cheese (shredded)
