Cheesy Stuffed Peppers

lightly packed fresh bread crumbs (I used whole wheat)

chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

garlic, minced

store-bought antipasto (or giardiniera, as in the original recipe. I couldn't find any.)

capers, rinsed and coarsely chopped

3/4 cup

freshly grated asiago cheese

3/4 cup

freshly grated parmesan cheese (Parmigiano-Reggiano)

1 tsp

coarse salt

1/4 tsp

pepper

cayenne pepper (optional)
