INGREDIENTS
2 cups
butter, room temperature
4 cups
powdered sugar, sifted
1 T
heavy whipping cream
3 tsps
peppermint extract
pinch of salt
red or pink food coloring
NOTES
I like to crushed up candy canes and add them to the frosting, usually instead of food coloring. They turn the frosting a pale pink without looking so artificial. Plus the crunch is nice!
