cavatappi or elbow macaroni, cooked per instructions, about 8-10 minutes, drained

1/2 stick

butter

1/4 cup

flour

2 cups

milk

1 1/2 cups

mozzarella, shredded

1 1/2 cups

sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 tbsp

Old Bay seasoning

Salt and pepper,

slices of bacon, cooked and diced into small pieces

8 oz

cooked crab meat, drained (I used jumbo lump, but feel free to use claw meat)

3/4 cup

bread crumbs

Scallions, for garnish
