buttermilk ((or substitute regular milk))

green tomatoes sliced into 1/4 inch thick rounds

Vegetable oil or bacon grease for frying ((I used peanut oil))

1/2 cup

mayonnaise

2 tbsp

ketchup

cayenne, or more to taste
