Salt and black pepper,

butter, unsalted

minced garlic, divided

1 lb

asparagus, ends trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces

1/2 cup

heavy cream

Juice and zest of one lemon

1 tsp

garlic powder

1/2 tsp

dried oregano

1/4 tsp

dried thyme

1/3 cup

grated parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish

1/2 cup

grated mozzarella cheese

Chopped fresh parsley and lemon slices for garnish, if desired
