canned white beans, drained/rinsed

1 1/2 cups

canned chickpeas, drained/rinsed

1/2 cup

raw walnuts

1/3 cup

sun-dried tomatoes

1/3 cup

fresh lemon juice

5 cloves

roasted garlic (roast in oven with oil until soft)

1 clove

raw garlic (optional for a spicy edge)

2 tbsp

walnut or flax or extra virgin olive oil

1/3 cup

fresh tomatoes

1 tbsp

tahini

salt to taste (about 3/4 tsp)

black pepper and cayenne

optional: 1/4 cup fresh basil blended in + basil to garnish
