Minestrone and Sausage Soup

Sausage, ground

1 1/2 cups

Carrots

1 1/2 cups

Celery

1 15.5 ounce can

Kidney beans, red

1 14.5 ounce can

Tomatoes, petite

4 cups

Beef broth

2 8 ounce cans

Tomato sauce

10 oz

Shell pasta

1 tsp

Garlic salt

3 tbsp

Italian seasoning

1 tsp

Onion salt

1/2 cup

Parmesan cheese

2 cups

Water


NOTES

  • 9/10- Doubled the sausage and added 3 diced up zucchini’s. Only used almost 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning, and that was plenty! Seasoned the meat while cooking. Used a 1 lb box of Barilla shells, so I needed to add about another 2-3 cups of chicken/beef broth. It needed the extra broth for the extra pasta, and may have had too much seasoning without it. Froze 3 extra servings in gallon ziploc bags.
