Classic Chocolate Mousse

(16 oz, 500 ml) heavy cream

semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

large egg yolks

(2 oz, 60 ml) Grand Marnier or liquor of your choice (or nothing)

(4 oz, 115 g) granulated sugar, divided in half

large egg whites
