bunch (about 10 to 12 leaves basil, roughly chopped)

garlic cloves (very thinly sliced)

dried oregano

sea salt or to taste

black pepper or to taste

grated Parmesan cheese plus more for garnish

1/4 tsp

red pepper flakes optional

red chili pepper of your choice (deseeded and finely chopped (optional))

extra virgin olive oil for frying
