chickpeas (garbanzo beans),(rinsed & drained but reserve 1/4 cup of the liquid to thin out the hummus later

large garlic cloves (if you have time - roasted garlic is awesome in here)

fresh lemon juice

1/2 tsp

smoked paprika

1/4 tsp

cumin

sea salt

black pepper

1 tbsp

olive oil (optional)

chili flakes for garnish
