Slow Cooker Beef Chili

dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained

1 15 ounce can

small red kidney beans, rinsed and drained

fire roasted tomatoes

1 15 ounce can

diced tomatoes

2 15 ounce cans

tomato sauce

1 cup

beef broth

to 3 tablespoons chili powder (we use 3)

1 tbsp

ground cumin

1 tsp

paprika

1 tsp

kosher salt

1/4 tsp

cayenne pepper

1 tbsp

pure maple syrup, optional

1/4 cup

sliced tamed jalapeño peppers, optional

Chili toppings for serving: shredded cheese, sour cream, sliced green onions, jalapeño slices, cilantro, avocado, etc.
