My Favorite Pecan Pie Recipe

INGREDIENTS

Homemade Pie Crust (my recipe makes 2 crusts; you can halve the crust recipe or freeze the 2nd half)

and 1/2 cups (250g) coarsely chopped Diamond of California pecans (a very rough chop!)

dark corn syrup*

1/2 cup

packed dark brown sugar

and 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
