Buttermilk Blueberry Breakfast Cake

fresh lemon zest

sugar (leave a spoonful for dusting at end)

vanilla

flour (put 1/4 cup aside for blueberries)

2 tsps

baking powder

1 tsp

salt

2 cups

fresh blueberries

1/2 cup

buttermilk


NOTES

  • My kids don’t like full-sized blueberries in it (too tart, I think), so I use hand mixture to mix them in well and break them up.
