Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

INGREDIENTS

to 3 slices white bread, torn into small pieces 

2 tbsp

dried onion

1/2 cup

2% milk

1 1/2

to 2 pounds lean ground beef sirloin (90/10) (I used Certified Angus Beef ® brand)

1/2 tsp

dried thyme

to 1 1/2 tsp. salt 

1/2 tsp

black pepper

1 tbsp

Worcestershire sauce

large egg, slightly beaten

1 tbsp

olive oil, for browning

1 cup

sliced onion (about 1 medium onion sliced)

1 oz

jar of prepared beef gravy

1 oz

can of condensed cream of mushroom soup (I used low fat)

1/2 tsp

instant coffee granules (optional, but so good!)
