Bacon (diced into lardons (thick-cut is best))

Chicken broth (I use water and Better than Bouillon. Use 8 C. if using 2 lbs of sausage)

Bunch Kale (organic is best for kale and usually costs the exact same)

Heavy Cream (Use an extra 1/2 c. if using 2 lb of sausage)
