Whole Milk
1/2 cup
Half and Half or Heavy Cream
4 oz
Gruyere– which should equal about 1 cup shredded
1/4 cup
grated Parmesan, plus an additional ¼ cup as topping
Hardly any Nutmeg (see below)
Salt, Black Pepper,
1 1/2 cups
Ham Bread Crumbs (recipe down yonder!), or regular ones if you’re feelin lazy
