1 pound hamburger (20% fat (this is the perfect fat content so no substitutions!))

1 egg

1/4 cup Panko bread crumbs or gluten free Panko bread crumbs

1 tsp. black pepper

1/2. tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. liquid smoke

2-3 Tbsp. ice water (optional)

Seasoning salt or kosher salt for grilling

Cheese (pineapple and assorted hamburger condiments)

  • Alt recipe (styled snapshots) 2 pounds ground chuck
    ½ cup crushed saltine crackers or Panko breadcrumbs
    1 large egg
    2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    2 tablespoons milk
    1 teaspoon salt

    ½ teaspoon black pepper
