Slow Cooker Backstrap and Broccoli

venison backstrap (or beef roast)

1 cup

beef broth

1/2 cup

lite soy sauce

brown sugar

1 tbsp

sesame oil (you could substitute another oil, but the sesame adds a really nice flavor)

1 tbsp

garlic powder

1/4 tsp

ground ginger

2 tbsp

corn starch

3 cups

broccoli (fresh or frozen, either is fine)

sliced green onions for serving (optional)
