Heart-Healthy Salmon Salad with Homemade Strawberry Vinaigrette

fillets of salmon

Mixed greens

Crumbled blue cheese, gorgonzola, feta or goat cheese - I have used all varieties and they are all great!

Fresh strawberries - quartered

Roasted walnuts - make your own (instructions further down) or buy ready-made

Salt, pepper, and butter for seasoning the salmon

bag chopped walnuts - I bought the 4 oz bag, this was plenty for 4 salads

fresh strawberries - you can also use frozen, but thaw them first
