Grilled Jerk Chicken Kabobs with Pineapple

avocado oil (or melted coconut oil or canola oil if not paleo)

juice of 1 lime

inch piece of ginger (peeled and thinly sliced)

habaneros or jalapeno peppers (cut into large chunks, unseeded (for more authentic jerk--use habeneros--I just happened to have jalapenos))

garlic cloves (peeled)

1 tbsp

maple syrup (or honey or agave)

1 tsp

dried thyme

1/2 tsp

freshly ground nutmeg

1/2 tsp

dried allspice

1 tsp

kosher salt

1 lb

boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into 1" chunks)

1/2

fresh pineapple (peeled, cored and diced into 1" wedges)
