rainbow jimmies sprinkles* (NOTE: nonpareils sprinkles will bleed so I do not recommend for the cake batter - however, you can use for decorating the outside of the cake)
For the Vanilla Buttercream Frosting:

unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup
cream cheese, softened
3 1/2 cups
confectioners’ sugar
1 tsp
heavy cream
1 tsp
vanilla bean paste
1/4 tsp
salt
