For the filling

maple syrup or 2 tablespoons honey and ½ tablespoon water

starch (corn, potato, arrowroot, or tapioca)

vanilla
zest of 1 orange (very good, but optional if you want to make it even easier)
For the topping
1 1/4 cups
gluten free old fashioned rolled oats
2 tbsp
tapioca starch or arrowroot powder
1/8 tsp
salt
1 tsp
corn free baking powder
2 tbsp
sucanat*
4 tbsp
virgin coconut oil (solid or liquid)
1 tbsp
water
*sucanat is dehydrated cane sugar. It has a few more minerals and is less processed than white sugar. You can use white, brown, or coconut sugar to replace one for one.
