Chicken Shawarma with Hummus & Pita

nutmeg, cloves and/or cinnamon

crushed red pepper (or more, as desired)

boneless, skinless chicken thighs, trimmed of excess fat

1 15 ounce can

garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed

1/4 cup

tahini (sesame seed paste)

3 cloves

garlic, peeled

Salt and pepper

Whole grain pitas (I like Ezekiel)
