whole milk (separated ½ cup and 1½ cups)

vanilla extract (I use Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla)
I made two batches of this. One batch fills a 5 qt mixing bowl, so two batches was necessary as I couldn't combine them.
Be prepared with double the amount of ingredients below.
