season brisket thoroughly

add olive oil to heated pot and place brisket inside

flip and repeat on the other side. remove brisket from pan

add bacon until browned

mix in jalapeno

use beer to deglaze the pot

return brisket to pan

cook two and a half to three hours

beef should be tender when done

sear

cook another few minutes

let rest before slicing and serving
