garbanzo beans, if using canned, rinse and drain well

1/4 cup
tahini
1 tsp
cumin

garlic cloves, minced and mixed with 1/2 tsp. salt to make a paste (this cuts the sharpness of the garlic if eating right away)

TB water

TB olive oil
More salt to taste (approx. another 1/2 tsp. salt)
Garnish with olive oil, paprika, and chopped parsley
