Lemon-Blueberry Drizzle Bread

flour

baking powder

1/2 tsp

kosher salt

1/2 cup

butter

3/4 cup

sugar

1 Tbsp

lemon zest

3 larges

eggs

1/2 cup

milk

1 tsp

vanilla extract

1 cup

blueberries

4 Tbs

lemon juice

4 Tbs

sugar

1/2 cup

powdered sugar

2 Tbs

lemon juice

in a bowl

add eggs one at a time and mix until fully incorporated after each egg

add the milk and vanilla to the batter and mix until incorporated

toss clean blueberries

pour the batter into the pan and bake

cool bread in baking pan minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool

after you poke the holes brush the bread

allow the bread to cool completely

in a bowl whisk the powdered sugar and lemon juice until it is the right consistency. i added the lemon juice at a time until i achieved the right consistency
