soy sauce 2 tsp sugar 2 slices of lean bacon, cooked & crumbled 2 tsp of olive oil (or bacon grease) 1/4 red onion, sliced 1 clove of garlic, minced 1/2 lb of green beans, ends removed & cut in half Freshly cracked pepper, to taste
