beans and set aside. in a slow cooker add the tomatoes

in a skillet add a olive oil and heat the skillet until it's nice and hot. add the carrots

add the vegetables to the crock pot. cook on low

remove meat from bone; discard bone. cut meat into bite-size and add back to the crock pot and stir to mix. remove bay leaf before serving
