project wedding- the food

my goal was to have a selection of both and savory bite-sized food

i did sugar cookies

i did lemon bars. i tried out recipes and this was my favorite.

i made mint brownies. a recipe from my mom

i did cream puffs. i didn't make my mom proud

i the costco ones and dipped them in chocolate

i do love making cream puffs

i put them all in little papers so they were easy to grab and go

i made stuffed jalapenos. so simple

i made baby potato skins

i also made lemon garlic shrimp. there was a huge chaffing dish of these babies

because of the oil spill in the gulf

i had to use shrimp

i made goat cheese stuffed mushrooms

i almost can't get over how beautiful these fruits and veggies were

i was able to enjoy the open house while these worker bees had everything

perfect and ready to go out! i am forever grateful

we had a great photographer who took all of the fabulous pictures of that night

if you live in our area

that is the last of the big event of our summer

i have never

however

i knew i was an amateur

so i made my plans

i figure

i tried to go

it was even easy

my son's shirt is still

i made caprese bites in honor of my bro

i blogged them here

i was really mad at bp

we rented some huge platters and lined up the goodness

so that was my attem at catering. i think it was the most fun i've had all year

but let me tell you. i didn't do this alone

i did this

they insisted on helping me

now how would we do all this and document it all? not possible
