javelin throw: we used finger darts

shooting contest: we used nerf guns and nerf bow & arrow and had the kids take turns shooting a target i'd drawn on poster board

toss: we had the kids try to throw some balls into different baskets

long jump: pretty simple

foot race: really easy - first one there and back wins
