Mom’s Sugar Cookie and Cookie Decorating

start by creaming the butter adding sugar until smooth. then beat in eggs and vanilla

then add flour

divide cookie dough in softball-size and

space cookies one inch apart on greased cookie

allow to completely cool before adding icing and decorating. if the cookies are warm

chill at least hour

bake minutes

remove from oven as soon as you see edges browning and remove from tray quickly so they do not stick
