a layer 8” cake
1 pint
whipping cream
1 lb
chocolate pieces

in a pot

pull the pot off of the heat and add the chocolate pieces to the pot. let the pot sit

start gently whisking the chocolate into the cream. whisk until the chocolate is completely incorporated and is smooth

set aside and let cool and stiffen up. this should take 1-1.5 hours

use an offset spatula to spread the chocolate fudge frosting on your cake
