The cumin overpowers this a bit so I would skip the cumin next time. I also added ~1tbs of chili paste (sambal oelek) to the marinade and doubled the marinade sauce ask the commenters noted. Instead of pan frying the tofu, I baked the tofu slabs for 30 min, added the brussel sprouts to the tofu when I flipped the tofu and baked both for another 25-30 min.
