Slow Cooker Basil Chicken in Coconut Curry Sauce

coconut milk (lite coconut milk is great too)

dried basil leaves

and 1/2 tablespoons yellow curry powder

or 3/4 teaspoon chili powder

large red onion, chopped

8 cloves

garlic, minced

jalapenos, seeded and finely chopped

cornstarch

COLD water

fresh ginger, grated or minced

to 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • Next time add kale and potatoes for a one pot meal instead of adding a side later
