all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp

salt

1 tsp

baking powder

1 tbsp

sugar – optional (if you want a hint of sweetness in the dough)

1 stick

butter (4 oz), cut in 8 pieces

1/4 cup

or 4 tablespoons of orange juice

~2/3 cup sparkling water or still water, add more if needed
