i found the recipe from alaska from scratch

i doubled the recipe because i the carton of half and half; and i'll be bringing it along

water

sugar
1/2 tsp
cocoa powder
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
1/4 tsp
peppermint extract

half and half

add water and sugar to a saucepan over medium-high heat; stir until the sugar dissolves

measure out 1 cup of the simple syrup

mix the cocoa into the simple syrup

stir in the vanilla and peppermint extract

allow mixture to cool 10 minutes then mix in half and half

stir and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container
