Medjool dates, soaked in warm water for 10 minutes

2 tsp

vanilla extract

1/4 cup

unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup

Diamond of California whole almonds

1/2 cup

sunflower seeds (I use salted)1

optional: 1/4 teaspoon salt2

8 oz

semi-sweet or bittersweet quality chocolate3

Double boiler or microwave

Food processor (I own and love this one, this one, and here's the Vitamix you could use too)

Dipping tool (highly recommended for dipping!)
