add in the greek yogurt and stir until the chicken is evenly covered

place the yogurt-covered chicken in the bottom of a 6-qt slow-cooker bowl. place the pierced jalapeno on top of the chicken

stir in the garam masala and ginger and cook until fragrant

carefully add in the tomatoes and sugar and stir to combine. cook until the sauce begins to boil. then remove from the heat and carefully pour the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker

place the lid on the slow-cooker and cook on low
