about 3 - 4 pounds peeled and cubed russet potatoes

medium sized sweet onion, rough chopped
1/2 cup
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder

large eggs
salt and pepper, to your liking
1 tbsp
fresh lemon juice (helps keep the potato mixture from turning brown)
oil for frying ( I use olive oil, but you can use whatever oil you like)
