INGREDIENTS
SMOOTHIE:
1 1/2 cups
frozen fruit {I used an organic mix from Traders Joe's of bananas, strawberries, pineapple, and mango}

ripe banana
1 cup
raw spinach {optional}
2 tbsp
nut butter {natural almond or peanut butter}
3 cups
liquid {almond milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, water...} -- depending on desired consistency
1 tbsp
chia seeds
ice {to thicken}
{If you add a scoop of your favorite protein powder, add in some extra liquid}
*TOPPINGS:
fresh, sliced fruit {strawberries, blueberries, banana}
granola
unsweetened coconut
slivered almonds
sprinkling of chia seeds
*With the exception of the fresh fruit, the other toppings are great to get in the dry bin section of your local health food store.
