small to medium sized head of cauliflower - should make 2 cups once processed ((many stores now sell frozen riced cauliflower)
1/2 tsp
dried basil
1/4 tsp
dried oregano
1 tsp
garlic salt OR 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder ((I love Lawry's))
1/3 cup
shredded parmesan cheese
1/3 cup
mozzarella cheese
1
egg
pizza sauce & toppings of your choice
No matter how thin I made the crust, and I made multiple, it did not get crispy in the center. Too salty too.
The taste and texture were much better than I expected them to be. The best part was that I stayed full for the rest of the evening (as opposed to eating regular pizza that the rest of my family ate.). The only thing that bugged me a little was that it was more crumbly than I’d hoped. But hey, for a cauliflower crust, it didn’t disappoint.
