Seriously the best artisan bread we have tried, and it takes less than 5 min to put together! I use 1.5x the salt it calls for. I also use this as the base recipe for sourdough--I just substitute .5 cup sourdough starter for the dry yeast.

Truth be told...this is probably our family's most frequently used recipe over the last 6 months. I did a rough count the other day and stopped counting at 50 loaves! We almost always double the recipe and give the second loaf to a neighbor, because who doesn't love warm, homemade bread! 🤗 The recipe works really well as a base for sourdough, which is our favorite.
So so easy and delicious! This recipe requires overnight resting so plan ahead.
