For the Broccoli Salad

large head of broccoli (cut into bite-sized pieces, stalk and all(except tough parts))

bacon (slice into one inch sections and cook until well done)

cheddar cheese (cut into 1/4 inch cubes)

small red or white onion (finely diced)
