packages (3 ounces EACH) strawberry jell-o (+ boiling and cold water called for)

(about 2 cups) strawberries, (hulled and sliced)

and 1/2 cups COLD Sprite, (separated)

package (3 ounces) strawberry jell-o

full-fat cream cheese, (softened)

container (8 ounces) Cool Whip, (completely thawed)

Optional: additional whipped topping or fresh whipped cream to top

Optional: fresh mint and strawberries for garnish
