joint of Leg (Belly, shoulder of Pork with the Rind / skin ON. Leg of pork (bone out) is the nicest - (less fatty))

onion Sliced (see step 5 photo below)
2 tsp
fine salt
pepper to season
Herbs if you like (Tarragon, Sage, Thyme etc.)
2 tbsp
cornflour or gravy thickener (follow thickener guide for quantity)
500 milliliters
or 1/2 quart of boiling water or better (use the water from the vegetables you have cooked.)

chicken stock cube.
salt & pepper if needed.
Juices from the roasted pork (optional as it may be fatty)
Calculate 1 apple per person.
